What is Anima?
Anima enables NHS based GP practices to offer online consultations to their patients. This allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically, and offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker.
It is used in over 200 NHS clinics in England, serving approximately 2 million patients. Anima's products include a next-generation care enablement platform, online consultation features, and productivity tools.
Administration requests submitted via Anima will have different timelines than that of clinical/medical requests, depending on the type of request submitted. For example, Med3/Sick Certificates may take up to 5 working days to process, whereas requests for letters, completed forms, medical records, or other such documentation may take longer depending on the information required. Please bear this in mind when using Anima.
For clinical or medical requests, you should expect to receive a response within 72 hours as normal.
